We’ve worked on social campaigns spanning every industry, and our approach to social is backed by years of experience in other areas of marketing and an understanding of social’s role in driving business results.

Kat O’Leary has 20 years of marketing and communications experience. She spent 5+ years on the social media team at McKinsey & Company, ultimately as the head of social media strategy. During her time at the firm, McKinsey social’s cross-channel following grew 4x, and the social team repeatedly broke its own monthly records in both reach and engagement.

In her next role as VP at an agency, she managed brand and executive accounts for large, global organizations across industries and advised C-suite leaders on social media strategy.

Previously, Kat served in content marketing roles at clean energy and biotech startups. In a former life, she was the board liaison at the Metropolitan Opera.

Kat founded Knockout to work with results-centric organizations that are ready to use social to drive their next phase of growth. She holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a BA in Political Science and English from the University of Notre Dame.
